What is Global Hoops Camp?
Global Hoops Camp is an international youth basketball experience in Riga, Latvia, bringing together players and coaches from different countries for high-level training, competition, education, and personal development.
When is Global Hoops Camp 2027?
GHC Classic: 8–12 June 2027
GHC Juniors: 15–19 June 2027
GHC Select: 15–19 June 2027
Which GHC camp is right for my child?
GHC Juniors is for ages 7–11 and welcomes all experience levels.
GHC Classic is for ages 10–18 and is designed for players who already train regularly in a basketball club or sports school.
GHC Select is for advanced players ages 15–18 with ambitions to play at a high level or professionally.
Can beginners participate?
Yes. GHC Juniors welcomes everyone from complete beginners to players already training in basketball clubs or sports schools.
How does GHC Select work?
GHC Select is application-based. Players will submit game footage for evaluation, and the GHC coaching team will select 30 participants.
What language is the camp held in?
GHC Classic and GHC Select are conducted in English.
GHC Juniors will use a mix of Latvian and English when necessary, making sure younger participants can understand the coaches and feel comfortable throughout the camp.
Can international players participate?
Yes. International participation is a key part of Global Hoops Camp, and players from different countries are welcome.
